Reading Fair

Reading Fair:
This year, our Reading Fair will be held on Monday, January 24, and only second-graders will be participating. Storyboards are due Friday, January 20. Below are the specifics on the reading fair.

  • Storyboards should be constructed on a tri-fold presentation board.

  • Storyboards should be colorful and interesting.

  • Identifying information (name of the student(s), category and division, student's grade level, homeroom teacher's name, school and district name) should be labeled on the back of the storyboard.

  • Items on the boards may be handwritten or typed.

  • The family division projects should portray a book appropriate to the age of the child(ren). The child should be very knowledgeable about the book's story elements and should have an active part in the construction of the display.

  • The first-place winner of each category division at the local level will advance to the district level.

This year's students will be judged in the following divisions:

Individual Categories
Grade 2 Division C (Families should not help with this category. Any board submitted that seems to be completed with the help of others will be moved to the family division.)mouse soup
