The walk is in the 25 of April at the Renaissance. Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
The Ann Smith Scholastic Book Fair was a tremendous success grossing almost $9,000 in sales! A special thanks goes to all those who supported this year's event! Highlights included Muffins with Moms, Grandparents Day, Valentine's Day Kisses (Hershey's), free Mardi Gras beads, and celebrity guests, which included The Dark Knight (Batman) and Clifford! Funds generated by this year's event will be applied to purchasing instructional materials for teachers.
Congratulations to all of this year's participants! We had many excellent projects! 1st place winners will now move on to District Competition on January 22nd! 1st Place Winners are: Division B - Aaron Greene; Division C - Julian Slaughter; Division K - Libby Lane Philley.
School will be Open - Friday, March 6th
All Madison County Schools will be OPEN tomorrow, Friday, March 6th at their regularly scheduled times. This is will be an "A" Day for middle and high school students.
